Every cover begins with a person who said yes. This week we are adding six more of them to our Featured Models, and we are opening the new page with someone who traveled a long way to the front of the magazine.
Lei Lilium comes from the Big Island of Hawaii, and her face carried the cover of Nº 6. A longtime muse of Canadian photographer Marc Boily, she has stepped in front of his lens more than once, and the frames carry the ease of two people who trust each other. There is something of the island in her presence: unhurried, warm, and entirely at home in her own skin.
And five more who earned their place on the page.
Valeria Pakk. One of the faces that defined our early years, ten issues between Nº 10 and Nº 46, a quiet constant as the magazine found itself.
Greete T. A regular through our first three years, nine issues of poise from the era that set our tone.
Lala Ruelle. A modern recurring muse, eight issues from Nº 29 to Nº 58, proof that some partnerships only deepen with time.
Carla Ruiz. A founding-era muse who carried the cover of Nº 2, with us since the very beginning and back again for our tribute issues.
Jevgenia. She held the cover of our Year Two anniversary, Nº 10, and returned across seven issues of the early run.
